The red Weber charcoal grill is perhaps the pinnacle of iconic grill. It’s the color of the Weber logo for a reason. It’s the defacto status icon for a world of grillers. Everyone’s dad, uncle, or neighbor had a red Weber charcoal grill that produced the most amazing barbecue around.
Weber stopped making the iconic fire engine red grills in 1999 due to a ban, or high cost, of the process which involved cadmium. Red grills are sought after and more rare – but they’re still abundant compared to other colors. Below are some images of red weber charcoal grills submitted by the WKC community.
