Ahh the 26″ Weber kettle. While not the largest charcoal grill Weber makes, it’s the largest that most consumers are willing to shell out the extra price for.
It is unknown exactly when the 26″ grills began and stopped production. There have been a few gaps. The oldest 26.75″ grills (Late 1950s through the late 60s) have a lid profile similar to the current 2008-present models. While vintage grills made from the late 60s through the 90s have a lid that is significantly flatter in profile.
