Did the first cook on it last night. Lower heat (300) some local sausage...slight color change...Love It!

So it will still change color even though you painted over the original enamel? That's pretty cool. I figured the color change feature would be lost after painting.

Almost bought that paint for my yellow.  I would love to see pictures of it after a few cooks to see how the paint is holding up!

Only the bare spots and rim rash was painted...the light spots you see are the painted spots...probably 90-95% original porcelain

Only have one cook on it so far.
I have a red i used high heat paint on and it's held up decent...but I baby it and seldom get over 350ish
