Gonna need an ash pan, gonna need some handles, it'll need some love on the triangle and such.
So I have a faded black B Code MBH and the whole thing is in pretty good shape including the lid handle, only problem is that there's some considerable rust around the lid. Nothing that's worked it's way through. But here I am considering if I should make it a cooker or move it. For one thing I've never cooked with the three daisy wheels on the bottom. That doesn't concern me much but I never took into account how convenient ash sweeps and an ash catcher are on the newer kettles. It's cool as it's my first MBH but it's never going to be a looker because of the rim rash and if I rarely cook on it because of the convenience of cooking on my other kettles/performers, then is there a reason I should be keeping it?
So the point of all this rambling is, if you're planning to keep it, will you A) enjoy cooking on it, or B) think you'll get it in decent enough shape to appreciate as a looker or maybe C) will it serve as a little of both?
I have an 18 inch Bar b Que style brand new triangle if it helps (the kind with just the outer rungs on the triangle)
