Been eyeballing this post for a few weeks now. Sent seller a message for the stamp code but he just said its still for sale. Does anyone know if this is just faded black? Need to get another one since i can't not grill long enough on mine to get it all the way clean yet.

It's a cool old faded black.  It didn't ever have wood handles on the sides but the wood on top is obviously original

Faded black 18". And I'd say for $20 as long as the leg sockets were strong and it's not to far from you, get it.

Gonna need an ash pan, gonna need some handles, it'll need some love on the triangle and such.

So I have a faded black B Code MBH and the whole thing is in pretty good shape including the lid handle, only problem is that there's some considerable rust around the lid.  Nothing that's worked it's way through.  But here I am considering if I should make it a cooker or move it.  For one thing I've never cooked with the three daisy wheels on the bottom.  That doesn't concern me much but I never took into account how convenient ash sweeps and an ash catcher are on the newer kettles.  It's cool as it's my first MBH but it's never going to be a looker because of the rim rash and if I rarely cook on it because of the convenience of cooking on my other kettles/performers, then is there a reason I should be keeping it?

So the point of all this rambling is, if you're planning to keep it, will you A) enjoy cooking on it, or B) think you'll get it in decent enough shape to appreciate as a looker or maybe C) will it serve as a little of both?

I have an 18 inch Bar b Que style brand new triangle if it helps (the kind with just the outer rungs on the triangle)

Thanks @captjoe06. Does that sticker say $7.99? Looks like that's one thing I'll need as well as an ash catcher. If i end up getting it I'll take another pic and let y'all know.

If you get it let me know, Be happy to gift it to you.  I don't have the one with all the spokes, just the one with the outer triangle.  But if you need it, it's yours.

I saw this grill posted. Should be a nice grill to fire some burgers on. Good luck with the pickup.

What does this mean?

It means he cannot refrain from grilling long enough to completely clean his grill.

Wow.. I'm sure he still does. No one their right mind would buy that.

Weberitis clouds all logic and rational thinking. I have a few grills that look like that.. lol
