sorry pics are so big

No apology needed....Bigger the better! Very cool!!

Can't wait to see more of this. Does the triangle pan sit between the front leg and the wheel axle? The Duke and I have been discussing this setup! Would love to see more close ups. Keep em coming!

I was right. A 56 or 57 in my state all these years.

This should be your favorite ... It is wonderful!  Tell me you have cooked on it!

This kettle is WOW!! Love it!! A 1956! This is how we are here, we get excited by these kinds of things.... Congratulations on a phenomenal score and at a steal of a deal!

This is one step closer to a '52 original. Theres one out there begging to be rescued.

Cooker or a looker? This would be fun to try some vintage 50s recipes on. :D

Welcome Zorknards2,

That's an extremely nice score. I am looking forward to seeing it in the daylight. If we can get a good look at it I am sure we can also help in the light restore.

Thanks again for posting and joining.

What a great find! This grill is exactly what this web site is for, this place has the most concentrated collection of Weber information and enthusiasts in the world. There are people here who can guide you through a resto step by step and plenty others like me who may not have the specific info you need but will encourage you to see it through. That's a great piece of Americana you've got there, I'm really looking forward to seeing more of it.

Your backyard?!? Likely a few miles from me? Nice find! Seems kinda dangerous tho. Luckily I am certified to remove such risky items. Let me know where you are and I will be happy to transfer this perilous article, as is my sworn duty!   8)
