I'm taking a private poll. Just curious what the membership thinks. If you had a Ranch kettle and a 26.75 Kettle and had to give up one of them, which one would you sell? All thoughts welcome.
This is the original Weber kettle. The most powerful bbq grill in the world and can blow your taste-buds clean off! So, you have to ask yourself one question: "Do you feel hungry? Well, do you punk?"

Bustin Butt

Definitely the 26er. That way the regret won't be as bad.

If it ain't smoked don't eat it!

varekai

Give up the 26, it would be harder and pricier to replace the ranch....

Craig

I don't have any 22's except for a '61 MLH Wood Dale that is more for looking than cooking.

I wouldn't part with an MLH then. I figured this to be a hypothetical for what any of us would do. I answered based on my stable. Also full disclosure, I don't own a Ranch yet.

Thinking more practical and logical I'd ask which one gets more use today? I don't own a ranch or 26er but if I did own a ranch it would probably get used for big parties and nothing more. A 26 would get much more use in my lineup. Knowing the ranch would cost more to replace, you'd also get more cash on that sale. If you use the ranch quite a bit then I'd keep it. If not, sell it.

Looking for: Red MBH 26"(The Aristocrat), Chestnut-coppertone (The Estate), Glen-blue (The Imperial), and The Plainsman.

JEBIV

You can have my 26er when you pry it from my cold dead hands and I own a ranch

Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

SteveZ

I don't have enough use for a Ranch. The 26 is more practical for me. If I need more space just fire up a 22 with my 26. But that's just me. How about you Ramsfan?

I agree with kettlebb. It depends on your lifestyle. Do you do more big party cooking, or more family style with the occasional party feast?

I'm the latter and the 26r is a great for my family get togethers. I also use a 22" though.

I think if I was having to "make room", I would sell the ranch for the profit and invest in a smaller cooker, not looker.

All that said, I don't own a ranch either.

johnny 2 shack

option number 3 is keep both , buy a couple 22's ,sell one of those . :)

MikeRocksTheRed

I don't have a ranch nor have I seen one in person, but I just don't think I would have an excuse to use it enough.  My 26er was a game changer and I don't think I will ever part with it.
