Welcome from Kansas! That's awfully nice for your first find, but the wheels are locked up, so you better just let me have it!Jk. I haven't seen any with locked up wheels, there has to be crud up in there or something
That’s a nice redhead you got there. This is my 83 E code redhead. All my grills have names, this one is Big Red.Sent from my iPhone using Weber Kettle Club

I figure since the grill was free, buying new grates and new wheel would be at least half the cost of a new one. I don’t “need” vintage wheels, do I ?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Welcome from Highland Park, Illinois (north suburb of Chicago)! Your grill restoration turned out great! You'll find that this group is unbelievably helpful and encouraging.
Thanks Dave. She cooks great! I got the wheels loosened up...the corrosion on the axle was pretty bad and the swelling on it prevented the wheels from turning. I took off the wheels, sanded down the rust and corrosion on the axle and put it back together. Now both wheels roll just fine. [emoji3]
