Greetings Grillfellas
Here's my story and I'm sticking to it! I picked up this Red 1st Generation Performer for $10 awhile ago. Kettle was breached at the grate straps, lots of missing red. No tank. No regulator. No ash pot. But it had good bones and lots of potential. So as anyone dedicated to RRR would do, I looked at the pile of parts for a couple weeks and asked the sad little Performer what I could do to make it happy and bright again. That's when I got the idea for the "Flux Capacitor"! Wait that's a different story!
So I dug up a picture of a Performer restore I did awhile ago. Moved it into a Microsoft Paint Program and started looking at colors to bring this Performer back to life! So now for the Pictures........
The poor little $10 Performer as I found it.
The work image of the colors I dreamed up.
Some pictures of the final restore.................
This colorfully little grill is going to be my regular cooker. I'll be kicking back some cold ones and listening to Buffet on the Radio!! It don't get much better than that!
