Awesome kettle, and  cleaned up very nice. How did you clean the ash pan?

@JDD , I used CLR first, then aluminum mag cleaner with light scrub with 0000, finish was Mothers.
Others have tools that make them look like a mirror, I'm envious of those.

That is in amazing condition. Excellent you have a knowledgeable assistant and were able to rescue it.
I've got Webers. 10 - WSMs, 5 - 22.5" kettles, 2 - 18.5" kettle, 2 - SJS, 2 - SJP, 4 - WGA, 1 vintage Coolie Pan

Well, lets just say she said it looked like a Weber, but it wasn't black. Thanks to technology, this one didn't get away.
