Big company or small company aside. Here is the scenario, the label on the grill was the same as I showed on the receipt Black Kettle 22" for $79.99. I called the manager over and asked if I could have that grill for that price, he said certainly and helped me wheel it to the register.
It is not say GrillMark Black Kettle it was not that descriptive. Did I know it was a steal of a price, uh yeah. Now the question is, did I do anything underhanded to get that price? I did not switch labels, I didn't do anything to deceive or misrepresent as I purchased the product. I did not know why they had it for that price when I purchased it.
When I did find the actual grill I did make it a point to inform the store so they could correct their error.
Again, I love this discussion, I brought it up understanding that people opinions would vary. I am a big boy, a moral person and can take a little disagreement. In fact, I want it, I am the type of person who takes many different angles of something to try to come up with a conclusion.
JDD - I personally don't think you did anything wrong but you see what I did and it is very similar.
