82 deg out today and I have the brain fart to paint our new wooden butt holder table set.
The old one is in the background and has seen better days.

It was really "hot" in Walmart the other day.

It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

This was the one in Arlington Heights. The one on North Ave is my usual go to. Anyone who travels to Chicago needs to go to Johnnie's

Taking the week "off", so I finally had a chance to finish these adirondacks. Plans are courtesy Norm Abram. Wood is clear red cedar with two coats of Penofin exterior penetrating oil sealer. Now I need to build two more. Super comfortable.

Ha! I think it took me about that long too. I remember watching the episode when it ran for the first time. I was a younger man then, but the bug remained. Happy I finally did it. I used the Popular Woodworking plan that came out later. Same thing, but updated with some new ideas.
