Nice to see a fellow Brussels Sprouts fan. They get an undeserved bad reputation.

I fixed the sprouts in the oven because it's my first time with this recipe. I think they would be better on the grill.

Everything is better on the grill. Love some sprouts. Nice looking plate. 👍

Oh and that was my first time using a vortex. I really like it. Just about a minute on each side direct heat and then finished on indirect heat for the rest off the family. About 1 1/2 minutes per side for my rare to medium rare and it was done.

Oh Hell no, the bad rep is well deserved. Most people just don't cook them right, they tend to overcook them and they become kind of mushy & a bit bitter.

That  looks like a great recipe. Thanks for sharing.

I've done them with roasted chestnuts. That is tasty as well.

Both of those recipes look fantastic. Filing them away for next time I pick up some Brussels sprouts. Thanks for sharing.

This is very similar to how I do them, http://www.foodandwine.com/recipes/brussels-sprouts-chestnuts-and-bacon
Thanks @Darko I'll have to try them next time.  In fact, I have some chestnut tree's growing out bank.
