I think the faded black is starting to surpass red for me. They are so unique and good looking.

The sun has really taken its toll on these wheels. Pix are from Feb 2016 when I lost my mind and tried to give it away here.

Glad I still have it, but now I need to fix the leg sockets and such.

Purchased new by my dad in '75.




It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

Oddly enough, I was working on my first restore of a weathered warrior tonight.  I fought with a stubborn leg stuck in socket.  The previous owner had assembled the grill wrong.  The handles were pointed sideways rather than straight /parallel with the front leg.  Copious amounts of liquid wrench and MANY hammer whacks later, it broke free. 

It's an A code I got for $30 on CL.  Now I just have lots of cleaning to do!   Might need a new charcoal grate and wheels.
