WKC First Look: New uLine Copper Smokey Joe Silver (1112999)

Tracking down a copper Weber Smokey Joe used to be like finding a needle in a haystack. But now thanks to a newly released color unique to uLine, you can order your very own with just a few clicks of the mouse. The new offering is only available in the SJ Silver model as opposed to the original which was sold only as a SJ Gold. In my opinion this is one of the sharpest looking Smokey Joe’s to appear in years, and to the delightful surprise of many this new Joe also comes with the original welded strap handle with no heat shield!

Below are some unboxing shots and at the end a comparison of the new copper to the old. You will notice the old style (“DI” Code) appears more golden up against the new copper which is more true to it’s name.

Interesting fact: As far as we can tell the original copper Joe’s were only made in 2007.

Enjoy!
