Test Run

Test run check it my Test run live... pretty cool u can see the fan speed in green ..it got super windy and temps spiked a bit we got 40mph gust

Looks like a great setup.  That’s the biggest problem with my WSM is reaction to wind.  Looks like a controller/fan combo solves the problem.  I’ll have to try mine sometime soon.  What kind of plugs are those on the vents and where did you find them?

Pretty happy with results.. ran flawless but the fan kept creeping up to 60% figured to move around the coals and did the trick

You can limit the max fan speed through the app settings.  I have mine set to auto but a max of 35%. Seems to help it from belching too much smoke when making adjustments or lid removals and associated temp recovery.  Of course I’m using on a 22” kettle not a WSM.

I like the clips you have to hold the base on when lift it up. where did you find them and do they have good grip to hold a loaded base?
