Hello, I have just joined the forum after picking up a great condition 2015 Smokey Joe in lime green. I’ve never used a charcoal grill before…
“I didn’t think it would affect me this much…
I feel drawn to it.”
Keanu in Point Break.

Seriously though, I have had it for 6 days and I have used it 5 times.

Looking forward to getting an 18” or 22”, likely vintage cause thats my jam for sure. If anyone has a line on a source in BC for 70’s units I would love to hear about it. In the meanwhile I’ll keep scouring CL and f/book market.

Cheers!

Thanks, my wife says I need to branch out with veggies on the grill. I would love some cool ideas for experimentation purposes!

Welcome from Kalona, IA. Veggies on the grill are the best. Those burgers look like they will be great as well. It's 5:10 pm and I'm getting hungry.

Grilled zucchini's are amazing.  Slice them long ways, about 1/4" thick.  Coat them with olive oil and sprinkle some of your favorite rubs on them. I use Bad Byron's Butt Rub.   Grill over direct heat, about 5 minutes per side. You won't be dissapointed.

Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

Welcome from Waltham,MA.

Summer veggies and onions and peppers do grate on the grill.  Any kind of squash that you would bake also does very well. And I forgot eggplant - one of the best, especially over charcoal.
