My New 18.5 Ivory Has Arrived

My new 18.5 Ivory showed up yesterday and it arrived in perfect shape. Sent over from the Netherlands and it is absolutely beautiful, almost too pretty to cook on.

I have been working on trying to get one of these for over two years and my friend Matt @vwengguy was able to work his magic and get this sent over to me. Matt and his wife even broke out the kitchen scale to get the weight down to the right Kg to make the shipping possible. A few items had to get left in Europe to make it work.

Thanks again Matt I would probably have never seen this grill if not for you.

Unfortunately .. the cooking grate, charcoal grate and the charcoal rails had to be removed out of the box to get the total shipping weight under the 10kg .
With all the work and searching Josh and I did come to the conclusion that the colored 18"-47cm grills are getting harder and harder to find here in The Netherlands. And some of the colors are sold out and no longer being restocked in stores.
If it would have fit in the box I would have sent a 18" GBS but that in itself is so much heavier than the grates I took out. :-(

vwengguy is a great grillfella and I see he worked his magic. Good looking ivory, that's one long ass handle on that bowl I'd be tempted to shorten it.
