Cookout at work
« on: January 18, 2018, 04:17:37 AM »
On may way in armed with a 22, burgers, and chips. I guarantee there aren’t too many company cookouts in 13 degree weather unless a grill fella is involved. Can’t wait.

I threw it together last minute this morning so just the basics. Gfs frozen burgers, American cheese, potato chips, ketchup and mustard and buns was the entire meal. It went very well. I cooked 40 burgers and got everyone fed in a little over a half hour.

It was closer to 45 minutes from the time I put the first burger on until I pulled the last burger.

We had 2 five hour safety courses yesterday and today. It seemed like a good opportunity to grill lunch for the company since we are normally not all together at once. The company bought the food. Today’s kabobs were the idea of a good friend I work with so we cut everything up and assembled and marinated the kabobs last light. All we had to do today was grill. He Is also a weber kettle griller so we were a good team.

Both lunches went great and were fun to do. These kabobs were really tasty. I’ll be doing these more often. Everyone ate like they had never eaten before so I think everyone enjoyed it.
