Arrival of 3 Wood Dales That I Like....
« on: December 02, 2017, 10:27:52 AM »
Not bad for approx 3 week period.

1963 Glen Blue, 1962 Texan, 1962 Easterner. The Texan and Easterner have the Wood Dale ash pan and clips. They are in great condition.  The Texan had a stain on on side of the lid. The stain was almost completely removed with a clay bar. Good doing business with some GRATE grill fellas.

How do you do that? How does anyone find one of those let alone three?? I'm confused, my little mind can't grasp this.

Beautiful!  Love that blue!  Do you have any before/after pictures of the stain?  I’m very curious about the removal with the clay bar.  My yellow lid has a weird stain on it where it looks like some of the black paint that the previous owner used on it may have been baked in.  I am wondering if your technique may help with my problem...

11.  Several went to good homes.  I'll clean this one up and use it for a bit.  I MAY trade it down the road.

My neighbor owned a car detailing shop for many years.  I took it to him.  He used a clay bar on the stain and buffed the area.  It was not bad to begin with.  Bar Keepers Friend residue caused the stain.  I will dig up some pics.

Stephen has a lot of duplicates, I wonder if we are seeing the same grills over and over! Just kidding. It’s hard to believe all these have been out there waiting to be found.
