HEY!!

Though my old stories are a bit dated now!  Looks like the best thing that ever happened was the sale of Weber from the family and they've been able to finally move the ball forward.  They've finally decided to go or get off the pot for a lot of stuff that's over 10 years old...

@Hansiurpils Welcome to WKC.

The handle that you have is not all that rare. That was the style from the mid-60's through '81-82 (with the earlier ones not having a Weber logo).  What is uncommon is that it's screwed on.  Most of these handles were riveted.  There have been past discussions about whether these came on the kettles or were replacements.
