The Wok Strikes Back
« on: June 24, 2017, 05:18:42 PM »

Like I said, more wok cooks.

Attempting shrimp fried rice tonight.

Cooked the shrimp to mostly done.

Did up the onions with garlic and ginger then added the peas and carrots.

Put in the rice.

Then some egg.

Re introduced the shrimp with a garlic, ginger, and soy mixture.

Let simmer about 3 minutes.

Then serve.

It actually wasn't as I expected. I used fresh cooked rice. I guess the rice is suppose  to be refrigerated to let the moisture out. It was kinda mushy. That's what I love be about this, try, try again. No complaints though, I can tell by lack of left overs.

Preview for tomorrow.
