A Coke and a Smile
« on: July 15, 2015, 12:20:08 PM »
I'm finally getting caught up enough to where I can begin to dig out some of this winter's acquisitions. This one was 'new in box', never assembled, so an easy place to start. (Some will notice the "ouch" received during shipping. An easy fix but still a bummer.) I'm cleaning and restoring a few others and will get pics up as they are completed.

Now that's pretty. Hopefully you can straighten the handle strap without porcelain loss....try wrapping with towels and whapping with a mallet maybe.

Or send it to @zavod44 for an inspection. Then again, it's likely to be "lost" on the return trip. (the man loves his Coke!)

What a cool grill - absolutely love the classic Coke logo and the red is just perfect of course! Nice score Dale.

... And the handles!! my favorite stock Weber handles for sure!

Nice - I love classic coke products and picking this up NIB is a unique find. Slow and steady pressure when straightening up that handle, leave the hammers in the tool box. You may also want to get it hot before fixing but that would make for some difficult handling during the fix. Send us an update on how it all goes.

Cheers -
