Bright red for sure! Of course I am partial to Avocado and Two-Tone Brown (Copper Mist) and I kind of like the dark blue ones. I have been trying to research the different colors and when they were started and discontinued approximately. I have Copper Mist narrowed down to being introduced in 1969-1970. Based on the fact that Chestnut-Coppertone (boobie pink) was there in '68 catalog, but Copper Mist wasn't. Glen blue was around in '64, but gone by 1968. Avocado Green was there for '68, but not for '64. Yellow "re-introduced" as "new for '73" in the 1973 catalog. Yet it was around in '62-'65. I'm still guessing that avocado was dropped in favor of lime around 1974-75. Dark blue and dark green (still here today) were around by 1979. I still think those replaced yellow and lime green. An 1977 instructional booklet that I saw a pic of with a pic NIB '79 blue 22 showed yellow and lime as bowl/lid parts but didn't list blue or dark green. Duke +1 on the color wheel!  :D

@Bob: Actually, depending on how you look at it, the Burgundy kettles of 2000-2001 had a plum-purplish hue to them. But it's not Viking purple.

@Duke: c'mon, you know it's true.  ;D

Since we call Copper Mists "brownie" Reds "redhead" Avocados "cado" Lime "limey" We can give Chestnut Coppertone a more G rated nickname like "Canadian Bacon"  ;D

I like pink or salmon for Chestnut coppertone....BTW I don't see Chestnut coppertone on the survey.  Also I have the instruction sheet from my 1983 "Brownie" that refers to the color as Chocolate

What about the coppered colored kettles that were available through Target stores a while back? Can't forget them.  Also, how about the new brick red color as well? We couldn't lump that color in with the old "outlaw reds".
This is the original Weber kettle. The most powerful bbq grill in the world and can blow your taste-buds clean off! So, you have to ask yourself one question: "Do you feel hungry? Well, do you punk?"

Maybe we should just have a place to add every color we can come up with ourselves. I can think of several others.

I have a thing for redheads.  The all natural redhead, not the ones with smoked edges.

A close second place is the white kettles available in Europe. (Not on the survey)

I have that same issue. Hard time even seeing the letters on the Kindle...many typo's late at night.
