Kicking a simple side up a notch
« on: March 01, 2020, 05:45:55 PM »
My family likes Mac and cheese as a side for several grilled foods and bbq, but I think it’s kinda bland and boring.

Lately we’ve been cooking as per routine but adding a step.  Afterwards drop it in a small cast iron skillet and add some extra grated cheese on top of your choice.  Place under your broiler on high for a few minutes till golden brown.  Takes ordinary box Mac n cheese to a new level.
