Merry Christmas Ham
« on: December 25, 2019, 05:07:39 AM »
Fresh whole ham 22 lbs, 4 day brine now spinning on the Christmas red LE. She will get a maple syrup, brown sugar and bourbon glaze later hickory and peach for smoke. Merry Christmas to all. Time to test the bourbon and make sure it is food safe

Looking good, Joe!  That's quite a ham.  Can't wait to see it finished.

Great friggin' job. I did a ham as well today, and my brother did a turkey. It was a great Christmas dinner. We ate, we drank, and we were merry!

Only half the nutcrackers this year. My eldest son got married in September, so took all his. Nonetheless, the mantle still looks good with the younger sons nutcrackers.  I hope you and your family had a wonderful Christmas.
