I posted this http://weberkettleclub.com/forums/trading-post/being-a-detroit-lions-fan/  earlier today.

Well after a little negotiation I scored my Detroit Lions NFL Edition Weber Master-Touch + accessories.

Thanks Mrs Sandra Wiik for never using this grill and saving it for me.


This is the most telling of how new this is


Those who know me on here know that my '99 Master-Touch is my favorite grill (and I have owned them all from Performers to OT Silvers).  Now she has a mate.



Accessories included a Chimney(look at the handle), Apron, Cubes and charcoal holders (oddly 3 of them.)  Some other stuff that is not Weber or grill related.

Jeff that's awesome. Definitely a one of a kind!  The master touch is one of the best grills Weber ever made. I wish they still did instead of the golds or silvers. Nice grab glad you were able to get it.

Wow!  Nice haul!  That thing looks virtually new inside.

All-
Mind if I ask a question?   I just got a lid for a Green Bay Packer's SJ this week.  (Just the lid)   It also has the same "EO" code on the vent damper that this grill has.  Were all of these NFL grills made in the same year, or is it just dumb luck that they both match?  (Sorry, not trying to derail this thread)

I did a google search and could find anything but that sounds reasonable that they did this for one year 1995.

I posted this grill on Weber Grills facebook page and this is their response.

"This is an extremely rare 22" kettle. These special editions were never sold at retail, they were only for the official NFL tailgate party. There were only probably 8-10 made for each team. The person you bought it from would have won it during the tailgate cook off."
