@LiquidOcelot you could either show them a screen shot from another store and ask them to price match (which they will) or ask them to scan the bag. My guess is it will probably ring up at $3.90. Either way, you should probably go back.

Did you have them scan a bag at the register?  I believe this is a nation wide Home Depot chain clearance item.  My guess is your store has not gotten around to posting the clearance price tag but it will come up in the computer at check out.  I have seen several postings on Weber FB sites stating guys had that exact same experience. The Weber briquettes were marked at $14.99 but once they got to the register, they scanned at the $3.90 price.

My HD had is marked $14.06 on the isle but asked customer service to price check and rang it up at $3.90. Never hurts to ask.

Needless to say 20 bags ended up in the back of my truck. They had plenty more.

I just grabbed 15 bags today. I'm pretty sure that's all I can stash in the garage before a process server meets me outside with divorce papers.

I also picked up a new $70 "scissor-style" rolling cart for my Q1000 for $18.

Anybody know if WSMs are on clearance?

I noticed an 18" WSM there with two different clearance prices: $229 & $209. Not 80% off, but not a bad deal if you're looking for new one.
