The instructions say not to do any seasoning on my new made in China Gourmet Griddle. Is it not just cast iron? I always season my cast iron pans with canola oil, then bake them in the oven to create a natural "non-stick" finish. Can we do this with the new griddle? Why or why not?
Might return this to Weber, as I think using a good Made In America cast iron skillet would be just as good, maybe even better.
Any thoughts?
