Rescue Mission "18" was a success we all rescued 46 18 inch grills in one year.

I want to thank everyone that posted their rescues here, especially @MacEggs & @greenweb for their team work on multiple rescues.

All the plastic handled grills I rescued, except for one, have been either re-purposed, $old, or modified and given to other people.

Have a great 2019!

To add to the list, this 18 was rescued from my neighbor's trash, I had posted the rescue in a separate thread. It cleaned up nicely. I added a Craycort grate, SnS, tool rack and made the custom handles for it. It's a fun grill to cook on.

Thanks, HFG, for the mention!  And, thanks to everyone who participated in RM18.

@Hell Fire Grill spearheaded this mission, then proceeded to lead the charge!
Quite something to watch, and truly inspiring.

The teamwork that takes place on this site is also truly inspiring. Thank you!
Q: How do you know something is bull$h!t?
A: When you are not allowed to question it.

At this time last year I had no 18s.  Now, I have 8, I think.  The only ones I consider rescues were those I posted here, from the "landfill".

I hadn't made it to this post but unknowingly participated.

One early 70s 2 late 70s and one ez. The wood handles ones held up nicely.

I also picked up a new one during season end for $18 opened box but complete.

All in all I spent $5 for one of the pre codes plus the $18 on the new one so $23 for 5 18"ers
