This is a blue 18" I picked up a couple of weeks ago.  It was listed for $20 on CL.  Once I got to the sellers house, found the bowl to be totally roached out.  Holes everywhere.  Leg sockets holes,   grate strap holes and holes for no reason. Pointed all the holes out and started to leave.  Seller felt so bad, he told me to take it for free as I might be able to use some parts off of it.  Getting it home, I found the each leg socket had only one tab still attached to the bowl. Mainly the triangle assembly is what kept it all together.  Once I took the wheels off, all the legs collapsed. The legs, triangle and wheels are going to @jdorn for his project yellow, the bowl will end up being a succulent planter and the lid will become a custom pizza lid (inspired by @dazzo ).

Grabbed this K code tonight. My first redhead and first 18". Lots of rim rash, and three quarter + sized rusty spots but it is solid and I was happy to get it for $15.

Included a cover.

I had the pleasure again of meeting up with @greenweb today.  A real stand-up dude, I must say.

He knows about some projects that I have regarding 18" kettles.  So, he kindly donated an economy 18 for the cause.  Awesome!
Plus a six-pack of Muskoka craft beer …. Even more awesome!  Thanks, buddy.  :D 8)

Didn't have to rescue this one …. That was EZ ! :o ::)

Love Muskoka Brewery!
