MORE UPDATES - Wow! New flat top 26. What do I do?

Okay, so I was just checking out eBay, which I keep telling myself I need to stop doing, and I found a NIB flat top 26.  At least it sure looks like it is.

It was a Buy It Now Best Offer and my offer got accepted immediately.  Makes me wonder if I could have gotten it cheaper.  Anyway, it's NIB so I'm pretty excited.

Here's my dilemma.  I just bought a new 26 a couple of months ago that I haven't even used yet.  I'm debating whether I want to sully this baby (the flat top) and cook on it.  It seems like it would be sad to cook on it, but maybe even more sad not to.  My thought is go ahead and use it and sell the new 26 to help fund this totally impulsive purchase.  Otherwise, I could keep it as a looker and keep the new 26 for cooking.  Oh what to do, what to do?

My thought is, you have $450.00 into it. Maybe you get lucky and get $700.00 for it in a few years. Who cares? That thing is awesome. Start cooking and enjoy it

cook on it an sell the new one. just keep all the packaging. it's like having a 70 challenger with 0 miles just to look at when that bad boy wants to be drivin daily. just my opinion. no school like the old school

Those flattops are super classy. Personally the flattop lid makes me smile more so I think I would use that over the new 26r. Congrats!

Everyone seems to be pointing me in the direction I was already headed.  This just makes me even more excited to cook on it.  Man I hope it makes it here okay.  I asked them to open it up and add extra packing just in case.  Fingers crossed!

The new one has a bucket right? Well that one is for windy days and the new one isn't. Cook on and keep both. Bingo.
