Forest Green Smokey Joe
« on: November 11, 2015, 08:34:23 AM »
This little Joe originally popped up for sale on CL in Charlottesville, VA. I e-mailed the seller but was told that it had already been sold but that they would hang onto my contact info in case things fell through. Sure enough a couple weeks later I received a nice surprise in the form of an email asking if I was still interested and the rest is history!

It was missing the lid bale/vent dampers and the legs were pretty rusted out but for $10 +ship I couldn't resist. 8) I had a like new donor SJG so I robbed all the required parts from that, did a full inside and out cleanup, and installed a Zebra Zav... and bam! A nice little emerald in the rough ;)

Have a good one!

Nice work! I can't believe they shipped it to you for a $10 sale.  Most people I ask say no.  Way to stay with it.  Love the Green!!!

That doesn't even look like the same grill! Excellent job on cleaning it up.
