Vintage Weber Kettles on display at The Lancaster Fair
« on: September 10, 2015, 01:47:05 PM »
Amoung the antique farm equiptment, next  to the Blacksmith's shop...

This year I displayed 3 of my favorite kettles at The Lancaster Fair, in Northern New Hampshire.

A few thousand people came through the Washburn Farm and History Barn, and many people commented on how old kettles sparked many great memories.

On Friday I parked Red and Yellow by the Christmas trees and smoked up some all beef dogs with a little cherry wood and gave them out to anyone wandering by.

Here they are relaxing on Labor Day with my restored 1958 International Harvester 330...

It was a great vacation.

Enjoy. More pics later.

SS Green Performer, Blue OTP, Red MBH, Green OTS, 79 Black MBH, Blue 18.5 Platinum, Black OTG, and a brand new Spirit E gasser.

I love the stoplight configuration. Good job!

Good catch !... I wondered if anyone would have noticed.

BTW, The unsung hero on vacation was my Blue OTS, which stayed back at the cabin.

Here's the tractor after we washed and waxed it...

Thats the pig pen on the left.

Thanks for sharing the photos they remind me of my grandfather. He had farmall tractors. I really miss our farm. Learn to cook on a cinder block pit from him.

Awesome! I will be passing by the fairgrounds Saturday on my way to the North Country for some R&R. I've never been to the fair but i've been wanting to go for 30+ yrs- just never made it.

Very cool display and congrats.

Nice pictures.  Great to see your kettles on display and generating interest at the fair.  That tractor is killer!  I have restored a couple of 8Ns and realize the work involved to get them to look as beautiful as your I.H.

The blue looks like a semi MT???

It is actually a One Touch Plus, the precursor to the M/T.  Read all about it here:
