Some Early Birthday Gifts

My birthday is November 6th.  My wife and daughters decided today to give me a few early gifts.  Lucky me.   



Thermapen with leather case.



Craycort cast iron grates with wok, griddle/hotplate, and pan inserts.  And a very interesting pair of "Flying Fish" ceramic fish holders for cooking and seasoning fish.



And of course, some very snazzy socks to wear while using it all.


Like I said, what a lucky guy.

Holy crap Lerxst!!! Can you get your wife to counsel mine on gift buying?  Please.  Short of an actual Kettle that is the most awesome birthday present a Grillfella could possibly hope for.  Damn!!!  Been eyeing one of those systems for some time so after you play with that Craycort product a bit I'd love to hear your review.

Happy pre-B-day! Great birthday spread. Be sure to post some action shots with the new items, especially the socks. I recommend sandals or Birkenstocks.

Thanks. I oiled them up and ran them for a bit today. Did some Jerk Chicken drumsticks. The temp checking with a Thermapen is amazing. It's so fast.

I can't wait to use all the attachments soon.  Going to be awesome. I think sauted mushrooms and onions and a steak is next.
