Pork ribs slowed on the kettle
« on: February 20, 2014, 07:47:32 PM »
Made a nice dry rub and slowly smoked them on the kettle using apple chips and of course Stubbs charcoal for 2 hours then basted in BBQ sauce for another hour. Wow these look good

They were fantastic! I like pork a little on the dry side (im weird) but wow tasted excellent. Next time ill use apple chucks though.... Apple chips dont seem to work out too well. Btw in the middle of the night, that top rack met its maker... :)

Thanks again for the condiment rack. It cleaned up well and i use it all the time

Pecan chunks work very well with pork too, a mix of apple and pecan works wonders also..
