A huge thanks to Jeff Gaylord at Independence Porcelain Enamel (IPE) for customizing my 22” WSM that will make it’s debut in the first BBQ competition of the year. Shout out to Zavod for doing custom wood handles and lid air vent tab in a very short time frame.

The results were not very good after a very rough day on Friday with 25mph winds and rain out of the north all day. Our pop up tents/canopies took a beating and our guest list went from 40 to 5 due to the inclement weather. Here are our turn in boxes:

Looks awesome!   The wsm is a showstopper.   I know the feeling with the weather.   I’m cooking a pork butt now with flurries and 25 mph winds.  The things we do for the hobby we love.

Thanks Michael! I should clarify…our results were not very good according to the judges scores but we were extremely happy with how our que turned out.
