Killa-Grilla / Aura
« on: May 28, 2021, 05:16:08 PM »
Here is my new Killa-Grilla 17.5" charcoal grate. Stainless, heavy, looks real nice.
It fits my Weber better than the standard grates, being .5" wider.

But...it also is a perfect grill grate for my Jumbo Joe! It does not work so well in my Happy Cooker.

The KG is very nice. But overall I don't think it warrants the high price. You can find other options less expensive.

Note the 22" Weber kettle has an Aura SS grate with the KG SS grate on top.

My Weber has more "chrome" than my old '57 Chevy Bel Air!

And for comparison, here is the KG Stainless Grate next to my standard Weber Jumbo Joe Grate:

Nice [emoji1303] grates!

The Killa-Grilla is nice. So is the Aura. But the Aura is slightly warped...does not lay perfectly flat.

For the money, the Weber GBS grill grate is as nice. I have 3 (two are brand new), one of which is my daily griller. It is seasoned, and does a good job on everything. It has to be at least 4 years old, and should last another 10+ years.
