Performer cover question.
« on: May 28, 2021, 07:10:43 PM »
I have a Gen 3 date code DE Performer, and I’d like a cover for it. I read in one thread here that if I were to mod it with the larger current lid bail, there could be a problem fitting a cover (I see model 7152 as the probable correct cover?). Is this actually the case that the cover would not fit?

Thanks!

I looked on Amazon at the dimensions.   The current gen 4 performer, which has the larger bale, is 48 inches long.  The 7152 cover is 48.5 inches long.   I think you should be fine with gen 3.

The only problematic performer is SSP gen 1.   Modern Weber covers do fit it.

It will fit fine. That is the cover I  use on my gen II.
It has the gen4 lid bale and table.
