First Run on My Birth-year Kettle!

First a mega-shout out to a grate grill fellow, @Mr.CPHo !

Charlie responded to my bump for a ‘63 vintage kettle which would be my BYK.

He graciously offered up the oldest kettle in his collection to meet my search request.

On top of that, he offered to meet me halfway for the exchange, reducing my drive time by six hours!

It was great to meet Charlie and his wife in Greensboro NC on Saturday.

It was a thrill to be able to cook a celebratory family dinner for my 58th on a Wood Dale that was as old as me!
