http://ipe-porcelain.com/

I’ve seen this company come up several times.  For a fee, I’m sure they will enamel anything you want, including a replica glen blue.

Dumb question but do they remove the Weber enamel and take it down to steel? I think it would be difficult to enamel over enamel?

I believe they probably enamel over the original.  When I’ve watched videos of how Weber does it, when there’s a colored kettle, the do black first then whatever color.

I stand corrected.  Very cool capability.

Saw this on a sleep number mattress commercial last night. Looks like a master touch looks like glen blue. Why do I notice stuff like this

Right about now, I'm guessing several people are searching youtube for "sleep number mattress commercial" to try figuring out if it is the lighting or hint of a new color.

Hal

I saw that commercial the other night, my wife had the remote and I screamed pause it quick

I sent IPE a NOS black go anywhere. He put a base coat on top of the black followed by robins egg blue.

He also did a custom WSM for me. His workmanship is impeccable

That makes more sense. I’m not sure it would be possible to remove the original porcelain.

It was definitely blue hard to get a good pic of the tv

@harris92. Just how expensive was it to do one?

Someone needs to have their 26er done in the 70’s canary yellow and name the kettle Big Bird.

I’m going to take a wild stab in the dark but I would guess at least a grand with shipping.

The price will vary based on your imagination.  The grand estimate above was not close (actual is under).  I had the robins egg blue made for much less than it would cost me to buy a colored go anywhere from a grill fella.
