Bratwurst

Beer brats w onions and peppers in a butter beer and stone ground mustard broth all on the kettle w/ slow n sear and an old cast iron frying pan

Sauté onions and peppers in oil, add garlic, for two brats add half can beer, 6oz chicken broth, 1/8 cup brown sugar and simmer for a bit. Add brats and cook to 150f
Remove brats and sear over flame. Add butter (1/4 stick) and some stone ground mustard to pepper onion mixture and stir n simmer.
Once brats are browned put on top of onion pepper mixture until desired reduction is achieved and eat
(I don't feel compelled to put in a bun)

Forgot to post this.   #8 Griswold on the Genesis.  Brussel sprouts, bacon, and a diced onion with a splash or two of Worcestershire sauce.   I don't normally like Brussel sprouts but this was very flavorful.
