Did your Salmon take on some color from the cherry ?
Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

I am back in the USA for 18 days.  Plates were a cheap solution, the patio slope for drainage bugged me.  Didn't really affect performance of the grill.  I got the Indigo grill on my last visit. Hearts and thighs for tacos.

Did your Salmon take on some color from the cherry ?

Yes.  I didn't get a finished picture but it took on that normal medium darker color. I cooked around 325 for 30 minutes so it wasn't heavily smoked but just right.

We destroyed the leftovers at work this morning at 7 am. Ate it cold on club crackers with a little sriracha.

Top sirloin on the '78 brownie, Hooter Brown Brew thanks to a very good friend, butter beans and a version of Sizzler toast made from hamburger buns, butter and Parmesan cheese - I was a manager of a Sizzler back in the day and know the recipes lol.... Nice dinner for me and my sweetheart....Steaks seasoned with Kosmos SPG....seared 1 min and flipped twice.  Finished to 125F....oh and yes I'm a Heinz57 guy.  Can't shake it...oh yes, and hoping to do a cook like this on a yellow gourmet soon if the stars align.  Something tells me it might just happen.
