Boston butt money muscles, Mac/cheese, jalapeño poppers and bacon candy.

My wife is making chicken pot pie on Monday, so I grilled four chicken thighs.

Donald McRonald

Two butterflied chickens (1.4kgs each) rubbed with onion salt cooked over direct heat (lump and briquettes) using the Weber rotisserie with the addition of a rotisserie basket.
Bottom vents ajar - almost closed, which limits flare ups.
For most of the cooking the lid is on (vents open all the way) but cracked open on one side to increase air flow.
One of the chickens was basted with a peri peri sauce towards the end - all up cooking time just under 45 minutes.
Both chickens were succulent, crispy skinned and smokey from direct cooking.
A must go to in our household at least once a week.

Chicken pot pie my wife made with chicken thighs I grilled last night.

Two sticks of unsalted butter, pastry flour, potatoes, carrots, heavy cream, roasted chicken thighs and brushed with eggs wash. She forgot to add green peas, kinda funny she doesn't like peas.

I would like to try this on a kettle, but that's not going to happen. I don't want her cooking a brisket in the oven.

PP looks good.
I would have no problem cooking a PP on a kettle. There are certain dishes my wife enjoys cooking in the oven and on the stove. She enjoys cooking and baking, which is fine with me. It give me more time to go fishing and play golf.

Cheers

Some delicious looking cooks. This thread is food porn. Pizza, butterfly'd chicken, PP and money muscle look great.
