Got the coals going, put 3 chickens on the spit (two with one rub, one with a different one) of my red mist ssp, threw a couple potatoes underneath, took a pic right before I ran out to agent a grill for another member, & took a pic of the chickens when I got back, then checking with the thermometer. Thinking of moving the baskets directly underneath for a short time for some crispier skin.
The temp already reached the more current government guidelines (which were lowered down to 165 for poultry). I always check in a bunch number of places in case I'm accidentally to near a bone.
Certainly smells delicious.
