Which brand of grill mat is that and do you like it? I see a lot of different brands now of those. Seems like the perfect use for PTFE here, to both catch the cheese and not let it stick to the mat.

And yeah that blue ... swoon
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

I was wondering about that grill mat as well.  I've seen a lot of the "red copper" grill mats but I'm leery of the "As Seen on TV" stuff.

@addicted-to-smoke @mtneer

I love the grill sheets.

Like you guys I was very skeptical of it being gimmicky, but these things really work. The key is not to let any open flame hit the edge of the mat or it will melt it. Otherwise its good all the way up to 550 deg and makes cleanup WAY easier while also holding juices next to the food. Awesome for smoking applications and it cleans up with soap and water. Also cuts to any size. Good stuff!

I'd love to find a blue like that!

Can those mats be used over direct coals?

You would definitely have to beat me black and blue to keep me away from that food and those grills, awesome Matt
Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

I'd be cautious right over the coals, it will likely top out over the 550 max. I normally use it for messy offset cooks or smoking.
