Just makes you wonder how it compares with this...

After purchasing 3 of the KG7436 my only complaint was that the opening is even smaller than the weber gbs grate. I like to use very large lump and some of them doesn't even fit.  These two new items should solve that. Just don't know which one is better at this time.  Might have to purchase one of each to find out.

I like that the ABC grates hinged section is removable.
On some cooks it would get in the way.

Agree. I would probably remove it and when it comes time to sear just rotate the grate.

Well I did same thing Scott zee did and got the grate and the 18” stainless sns I can’t let the 22’s have all the fun mine is due to arrive on Saturday I don’t recall if they said how thick the stainless rod is on this one if I remember right killa grilla uses 1/4” stock anyone know how this compares ?

@northwestkettle   I  measured this morning and ABC uses 3/16th stock for their grate. Really nicely made. Cant wait to fire up the SnS and give'r a run.
