I don't have a Woodard/Weber cart, (yet) but I found a contemporary set at a consignment shop the other day and picked it up cheap. My wife has a few other pieces she uses for plant stands and such - we're having them powder-coated as we speak. The company was founded in 1866 as Woodard Brothers. (Reminiscent of Weber Bros?) Still going strong today. I like that. A batch of simple thighs on the SSP was a good way to welcome it to a new home. Woodard and Weber: together again. Let's see yours!

I can't believe your timing on this thread Marty.  Two days ago, I just took delivery of this vintage Woodard Sulptura set of 4 chairs and table.

HISTORICAL FACTS:
The Sculputa line was introduced by Woodard in 1956. They were the first company to construct a sculpted chair without using expensive molds.  In 1994, the Sculptura chair was added to the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum's permanent collection. Somewhere along the line, Woodard discontinued the Sculptura line. In 2015, in response to the resurgence of mid-century modern furnishings, Woodard revived the iconic Sculptura collection and still produces the chairs today. Cost of a new Sculptura chair today is $750 (per chair).

In keeping with the Weber and Woodard theme, pork meatballs smoked on the yellow tonight.

This particular set came from the Redstone Castle in Colorado.  It was built in 1897 and has hosted a Rockefeller and a Roosevelt. According to the Redstone Castle caretaker, this set is somewhere between 40 to 50 years old.

This photo shows 3 of the chairs from my set in the interior courtyard of the castle.

I plan on having this set sandblasted and powder coated, probably in white to match my Woodard Chariot.

This was the original CL photo of the set I picked up about a year ago.
It is an 11 pic set complete with a pat. pending red Seville. The lid was in rough shape but the rest is in really nice condition, it's in storage right now, along with the Seville, and I'm debating the next step right now. Repaint, sell, or use it as is.

Oh yeah, I did cook on the Seville

Hey Jeff, what am I looking at on the bottom of that red? Is that some sort of bracket? I can't zoom in enough to tell.

There's no bracket.  The pan is just resting there on the grate.  Thinking of making shorty legs, capping them, and using a j-hook twist pan.  Debating

that's what I'm thinking about doing also. I have leg sockets that I would need to just bolt up, hang legs and the ash pan. I don't have a beauty like you but my avocado needed a walker cuz she's pretty old and can't stand anymore
