Country style ribs
« on: December 29, 2016, 04:34:03 PM »
Rubbed these with Killer Hogs Hot BBQ Rub and smoked till 150 with mesquite.

Wrapped in aluminum pan with pineapple juice and BBQ sauce

Took off and seared over hot coals

Then sauced with Apple cherry habanero Rib Candy

Color and smoke ring came out nice. Super tender and very flavorful.

That is some great stuff on pork. Favorite is the mango habanero on baby backs!

Love country ribs. Cook them pretty often for parties. Pretty much use the same method.

The apple cherry is not hot at all. The mango really isn't that hot either but on pork it's awesome. Gives it a awesome shine. Also I like mixing a little BBQ sauce with it for a doctored up sauce.

Can't go wrong with them and very tasty. This meal was $12. Can't beat that any day!

Looks great but my wife can't do any heat whatsoever. My sauces are always sweet.

Don't let the habanero fool you. The apple cherry is sweet. I like heat and was kinda disappointed at first. The mango has a little heat and goes well with ribs. I wrap with brown sugar , butter , honey , and hot sauce. Finishing with the mango habanero balances out perfectly .
