Side Ribs On Trigger

Last week I agented a Kettle for Harris and he sent me this Wood Dale Texan I had admired. Harris did me a big favour last year and I would have done it for nothing:
This Kettle originated out West I am told. Whoever had it took very good care of it and cooked on it quite a bit from what I can tell. The seal on this cooker is the best of any Kettle I have ever used. I think I am in love.
Only once did I attempt to lift the lid barehanded.

Oh man, those are some beauty looking bones. Not a bad looking kettle, too.

Beautiful ribs and kettle there! I love the "only once" bit. It would probably take me a couple more times than that...

Almost looks like the "orange peel" rubbed off on the ribs......nice texture on the kettle AND the food !!!!!
